Historical note: The appearance on the front in the first months of the Great Patriotic War heavy tank KV-1 stunned Wehrmacht soldiers and officers.
The car possessed powerful armor; in fact, no regular anti-tank gun, which was in service with the Wehrmacht at that time, could penetrate the armor of the KV-1 tank. Wide tracks and powerful engine of the tank allowed him to overcome areas of land impassable for other vehicles.
